If your line starts with a female Italian ancestor, and she had to pass her citizenship forward before the next in line was 21 years old, you only have one option:

- Very fast. You can have your citizenship within the year.
- You can live anywhere in Italy you like.
- No Visa required to apply directly in Italy for the applicant or the spouse.
- Excellent way to move to Italy while you wait for your citizenship
Bad:
- More costly as you will have to rent a property in Italy for residency. (Airbnb wont qualify)
- Less convenient as you will have to move to Italy. (unless this is your goal!)
